Dr. Ramona Weber receives a HFSP postdoctoral long-term fellowship

We are very happy to announce that Ramona Weber from the Sendoel Group was awarded a Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) Long-Term Fellowship for her project: Mechanisms of 5' UTR-mediated translational dysregulation in cancer.

Out of a total of 665 applications from scientists of 65 different nationalities, 63 of the world’s most outstanding young life scientists were selected.

HFSP Long-Term Fellowships are for postdoctoral scientists in biology and were awarded to young scientists who have proposed original approaches at the frontier of life science research. The objective of the International HFSP Organization is to promote, through international cooperation, basic research focused on the elucidation of the sophisticated and complex mechanisms of living organisms for the benefit of all humankind.
